I don’t know about you but I tend to get hung up on ‘the details’ from time to time. I put things off because I do not have all the loose ends tied up. Inevitably, things are left undone, and occassionally my half done project never gets finished.

Sometimes you just have to stop and laugh at yourself! Such a time happened to me today as we were homeschooling.
I was coming off of a week in which I hadn’t gotten much sleep at all – sometimes I have crazy energy and I can’t sleep! It’s odd because my body feels exhausted but my brain just won’t allow me to rest, lol. As you probably know when you are physically exhausted often times your actions don’t always make sense, lol. We all ate breakfast, my husband left for work, devotions done, and we were off and running w/ school.

Awwww relaxation… for a mother, this is a very rare & often brief thing. The good thing, though, is that we become very creative on how we achieve relaxation. I remember a time when the very word ‘vacation’ brought images of waves breaking in the ocean, beaches, sounds of sea gulls in the distance, falling asleep by the pool, walking on the beach whenever I want, the feeling of sand between my toes, aaawwww… relaxation!
